Places to Drink

The fact that you have arrived at this page indicates that, 1) You are coming to an away game and would like to know what I think or 2) You have booked up a couple of weeks holiday in the area and therefore want to know about the local nightlife.

Either way I will do my best to give you the information you require.

I will have to do some in-depth research and write up my findings as I go along. In the meantime I will just give some factual info.

Below is a map for places to drink. Just click on name or scroll down to the relevant place for more information. If you want to get back to the map then click on the text link of the pub. I hope to add further details when I have done some in depth research!

Places to drink

First of all: Public Houses

There are three pubs within walking distance.

The Bull

The furthest away from the ground. It has a play area for children.

The Railway

Come out of Dagenham East tube station and turn right, at the bottom of the hill (about 50 yards) and on the right is this pub. I know no more at the moment!

The Eastbrook

This is the opposite direction from the other two pubs. I haven't been there for years. I will have to do some in depth research. Results to follow

Dagenham & Redbridge Club House

There are two bars that you can visit. The downstairs bar is where most of the away supporters tend to head. The upstairs bar is more comfortable but there isn't anything to do there other than read the programme. Peaceful though.

There is a charge of 50p for temporary membership and the beer upstairs is slightly more expensive.
