Changes to above team, too complicated to comprehend!

Live action below:

On the 3rd minute with Dagenham`s first attack, Paul Cobb collected the ball and shot first time. He beat the keeper, but not the bar. After an attack from Purfleet, Gothard saved comfortably, cleared the ball. Cobb shot well to score the first goal after 7 minutes.

On the 11th minute a cross in from the right hand side, to the edge of the Dagger`s penalty area, resulted in a low hard shot from Carthy to make the score 1-1.

In the next 20 minutes Daggers had two or three shots, not on target. Purfleet are battling well, in the midfield, but are not creating any chances, except in the 35 minute when they had a shot over the bar.

Half-time - The score remains the same at 1-1. Purfleet putting slightly more pressure of the Daggers towards the end of the half. There were two or three shots saved by Gothard. Both teams have battled well in midfield and the score at this time is a fair indication of how the game is going.

Purfleet had most of the possession for the first 20 minutes of the second half. Most of the play being in the midfield and Dagenham`s end of the pitch. Purfleet have had couple of shots, but the Daggers had a good chance on the break.

After Purfleet`s dominance of the first 30 minutes of the second half, Dagenham took control of the game and put mounting pressure on the Purfleet goal, culminating in a goal mouth scramble, when the ball was cleared it went only as far as Naylor on the edge of the area, who struck the ball well to score the winning goal. This was in the 87th minute.

A very cold evening, and a game that had periods of midfield mediocrity. The result was just about fair but this is the opinion of a Dagger's fan.
